Research Focus:  Transcription factors and gene regulation in blood cells.

We study how transcription factors control cell fate and how the breakdown of this process leads to disease. We apply this knowledge with the ultimate aim of developing the next generation of artificial transcription factors and to develop new therapeutic strategies for blood diseases and metabolic disorders.
